Anatomy of hair:

The hair follicle is composed of two sheaths:

the external epithelial sheath
the internal epithelial sheath

The lower part of the hair follicle placed in the hypodermis, presents a bulge called the hair bulb.The hair bulb is divided into two zones:

the matrix, location of an intense cellular activity at the origin of the growth of the hair.
the dermis papilla, which holds the feeding vessels.

Action of IZIPIL

IZIPIL acts by weakening the cells at the origin of the growth and the reproduction of the hair. These cells are located in the hair follicle at the level of the bulb (thus in the hypodermis) and also all along the epithelial sheath which surrounds the hair. Those cells are the targets of the inhibition properties of the Izipil natural substances with the objective of progressively eliminating the undesired hair.

Side effects: The oily texture of IZIPIL also allows for a better hydration of the skin so that the formation of subcutaneous hairs is almost totally stopped. Depilation becomes less painful.

Instructions:
Apply the lotion, with the roll-on ball, immediately after a wax hair removal session. Massage until the oil is fully absorbed and let dry for 20 minutes. It is necessary to remove the hair for the lotion to penetrate and take effect. For best results, apply the lotion for three to four days on the depilated area.

The bulb being taken out, IZIPIL will be able to penetrate more easily and to reach the places where are located the re generation cells which nourish the hair at the level of the bulb and its epithelial sheath.

IZIPIL does not claim to be able to remove all hair quickly and definitively. But by using IZIPIL regularly after each depilation, you will notice that after 3 to 4 depilation; a thinning of the hair, a longer period of time before hair re-growth, along with a lower hair density evolving gradually towards total hair disappearance. You will also notice that depilation is not a drudgery any more, even more so that you will not need to do it as often and that your skin will feel soft for a long time.

Results of the preliminary clinical tests

Results from a study performed at the New World Beauty Institute, Russia – St Petersburg, UL. Kirotchnaya 48 (November 2001)

Izipil was tested by cosmetic expert practitioners in institute conditions and at home for 8 weeks. We have noticed a reduction of the hair density on the treated areas after depilation:

After the 1st application, a reduction of 10% to 15% of hair density
After the 2nd application a reduction of 20% to 30% of hair density from the original observed density.

Knowing that the subjects were applying the lotion at home between depilation, at the 3rd application of Izipil, we have noticed a slow-down of the hair growth process at up to 40% on the regular growth pace, and a considerable reduction fulliculitis (hair growing internally into the skin tissue) on the clients suffering from that problem.

Practically all the clients using Izipil have noticed a reduction of the pain involved with the hair removal sessions.

Can IZIPIL be used on the face' skin ?

In fact the problem is not as much the use of IZIPIL lotion as the use of depilatory wax. IZIPIL is really most efficient when used after a wax depilation (up to five to seven days after depilation). IZIPIL can be used on any hair area. However, for areas with down, such as the chin or cheek, we strongly recommend to avoid wax depilation, in order to leave the down untouched. Indeed the wax depilation can stimulate the down growth, which then grows thicker. Therefore in this situation we advise to use selective hair depilation by plucking bigger hair on by one with a clip, followed by the application of IZIPIL.
