Some facts about acne:
This skin condition is most frequent among teenagers (juvenile acne) but sometimes it is also present in adulthood.
Acne is caused by the hyper secretion of the sebaceous glands (seborrhoea) under the effect of hormones. The sebaceous glands naturally produce a form of oil called sebum, which keeps the skin moisturized. Inside these glands is a tiny evacuation canal (the pilo-sebaceous canal) along which the oil travels, eventually coming out on the skin. When these glands grow, they produce far more oil than usual. This excess of oil can get clogged inside the canal, causing a build-up of oil, dead skin cells, and bacteria. This build-up can cause a bacterial proliferation, and produce blackheads, inflammation and redness.
Action of BotaDermo Lotion:
BotaDermo Lotion is made of specific plants and natural substances, in accordance with the principles of the traditional Unani medicine that penetrate the skin tissue with a cleansing and purifying action. Some plants have the function of restoring the Ph balance of the skin, other plants will inhibit the production of sebum, which is at the root of the problem, thus stopping the development of comedo and blackhead (zits and pimples).
Action of BotaDermo Cream:
BotaDermo Cream will eliminate excessive oily secretions. It penetrates the skin tissue with a cleansing and purifying action with antibacterial properties.
Instructions :
Lotion
Soak a cotton wool with the lotion and gently rub the face and affected areas. Do not wipe off, let the lotion dry. Apply the lotion at least twice a day. You can also spray the lotion directly on the skin.
Cream
When there already are some comedos (pimples): Use the BotaDermo Cream every day, as a daytime skin care and as an evening and night skin care cream. Use the BotaDermo Lotion to clean the skin before using BotaDermo Cream. Apply the cream on the comedo affected areas (face, neck, back, etc.).
Day time use: You can mix some drops of BotaDermo Lotion to the Cream to make it more fluid if necessary and apply on the affected areas, then you apply the BotaDermo Lotion in the evening.
Night Time use: Spray the BotaDermo Lotion in the morning and apply the cream in the evening.
As a face mask: Apply a fine layer of cream on the face and let it rest for 10 to 15 minutes, remove the excess with a soft tissue and then clean with a cotton soaked with BotaDermo Lotion.
Note 1: It is possible to put on some make-up during a BotaDermo Cream, simply wait a few minutes after applying the Cream. When the cream is fully absorbed you can start putting on the make-up.
Note 2: The BotaDermo Cream acne product aims to expel the blackheads and micro-blackheads from the skin. This is the reason why, after a few applications, some people will notice a spontaneous eruption of pimples. Do not get alarmed. This is a sign demonstrating the effectiveness of the product, which pushes infected blackheads to the surface and purifies the skin. BotaDermo uses this process to prevent the formation of papules (inflammation and redness of the dermis) and a few days later, the pimples will dry up and disappear completely without leaving any traces on the skin.
When the pimples have disappeared: You can switch from a daily application to one every three days or even once a week; however you must not stop completely, and keep on using the BotaDermo Lotion. The objective being to maintain the effect that has been obtained, from that point, it is for you to choose what frequency of use suits you the best.
The complete process may require 1 to 2 flasks of BotaDermo Lotion and a 50 ml tube of BotaDermo Cream and it can last from three to four weeks. BotaDermo Lotion is a distilled water based lotion, it dries quickly without leaving any traces and it does not stain clothes. It makes it easy to use during daytime, in school or at work. Moreover, there are no problems with using BotaDermo and exposing oneself into the sun. Note: BotaDermo’s purifying effects also act on other skin conditions.
